The Executive Committee of the Tanzer 16 Class Association agrees to allow (“grandfather in”) sails that failed to measure in at the 2008 Nationals due to being no more than 3″ too short on the leech, luff, and/or foot for the 2009 Nationals and any other Class-sanctioned events in the year 2009. Other older sails that were not previously measured but measure out in 2009 as undersized within the above parameters also will be allowed. Sails manufactured in 2009 and thereafter will be measured and held to published T16 Class Association specifications. After January 1, 2010 the Tanzer 16 Class Association shall resume strict enforcement of its one-design sail measuring standards for all Class Sanctioned events.
